After a few days Poser fencing, I finally managed to separate all content from the program itself. This actually means that I can use the content both ways: Poser Pro and P7.
I understand that very few people, here and in other sites, are using Poser.
It reminds me that Xartis' repeated that "we are working with an almost finished product." I guess this is right. Not for nothing Graphic Studio Coy's are charging the filmmakers large sums for their creations. If you are able to handle Poser in an environment as Maya, Rhino or Cinema 4D, you are on the way of becoming a professional or are already one.
One of the major problems with Poser and working with a separate kept content is Poser's limited ability to memorise locations and combinations of characters/morphs. As long as content is within the Poser program chances of endless searches become smaller.
Someone wrote that he/she is combining characters and textures/props that 'll work on the same morph. Which is of course an obstacle when you want to freewheel and experiment.
In this respect I am very curious what Poser will offer with their new POSER PRO that will see the daylight this year.
In Poser Pro I have, which dates a few years back, there is already a fusion to Cinema 4D.
As my present configuration is too weak to install a series of graphic programs, I will wait till I have my solid state workstation w/o internet connection.
Windows 7 ultimate 64 allows for an 8GB DDR or SDRAM memory. Which is fairly insufficient for the making of animated productions.
It is always the software and not the hardware that limits you.
Will be continued ........
